23-year-old American is eager to fight the former world champion
American boxer Kishon Davis (5-0, 4 KOs), who competes in lightweight and light welterweight, announced his desire to fight the former world champion in three divisions Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs).
“I have already said that I am eager to meet Lomachenko. When I signed the first contract, I told Bob Arum that I wanted to fight Vassily Lomachenko.”
Lomachenko had his last fight in December last year, defeating Richard Commey by unanimous decision. Subsequently, Vasily could fight with George Kambosos, but refused it against the backdrop of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian will return to the ring on October 29 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York. Jemaine Ortiz will be his opponent.
If Lomachenko wins, he is looking forward to a fight with undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney. It is reported that Haney and his father are interested in fighting Vasily.
