Athletistic/ MMA. Former mixed martial arts fighter, American Daniel Cormier has shared his thoughts on fellow countryman Tony Ferguson’s continued career decline.
“It’s very sad to see him fall. He was very good for a long time in a weight class where it was incredibly difficult to become champion. At his peak, Tony was no worse than any top fighter Now he has a I’m not sure Tony should be optimistic about his performance against Diaz,” Cormier said.
Tony Ferguson last fought Sept. 11 at UFC 279 with Nate Diaz, which he lost in the fourth round by guillotine choke. The loss was Ferguson’s fifth straight since 2020. Prior to that, Tony had a 12-game winning streak, which spanned six years – from 2013 to 2019. In total, Ferguson has 26 wins, 8 losses, 0 draws in MMA professional.
