Russian fighter Grebnev said he was upset with Chimaev’s behavior in a duel with Holland

AMC Fight Nights Russian Fighter Alexander Grebnev told RT that the Swede Khamzat Chimaev upset him with his behavior during the UFC 279 fight against American Kevin Holland, refusing to shake the opponent’s outstretched hand.

Chimaev won by submission in the first round. With 12 wins to his credit, he is an undefeated fighter.

– If we discount the failed shot put race, I was upset that Chimaev stood up when Holland pulled his hand. Not that he had to shake it – there is no such rule. But, in my opinion, in such cases one should either shake hands with the opponent or not. But don’t perform any attack actions yet.

In this regard, I remember the fight in 2013. Then Magomed Malikov also pulled his hand, and Kenny Garner, instead of shaking it, hit and broke his opponent’s nose. A few minutes later, the Russian “breathed” and then lost by knockout, Grebnev said.
