Athletistic / Boxing / MMA Undisputed world super middleweight division champion Mexican fighter Saul Alvarez has announced plans to defeat Kazakh fighter Gennady Golovkin by knockout in their third bout, to be held September 17 in Las Vegas.

“Winning by knockout is what I need in this fight, but I’ll be focused. If I get a knockout fine, otherwise I’ll fight 12 rounds.

I’m focused on not making the same mistakes, but I love boxing as much as ever. Of course, I had to lose muscle mass, but in the second middleweight I am more comfortable.

Golovkin hasn’t changed at all: he’s strong, takes punches and hits hard,” Alvarez said as quoted by Boxing News 24.
