Russian sambo wrestlers won 11 top-level medals on the second day of the European Sambo Championship, which is being held in the Serbian city of Novi Sad.
The winners in the junior weight categories were: Kristina Dudina (up to 50 kg), Sofya Tsibrova (up to 54 kg), Valentina Shtentsova (up to 59 kg), Milena Khilova (up to 65 kg ), Diana Filina (up to 72 kg), Elena Allenova (up to 80 kg). Among juniors, Vladimir Petrov (up to 64 kg), Daniil Orlov (up to 71 kg), Efim Lopovok (up to 79 kg), Dmitry Evseev (up to 98 kg), Vladislav Onishchenko (over 98 kg) became the best.
Silver was won by Ekaterina Solovieva (over 80 kg). Firzan Dilmiyev (up to 58 kg) and Javid Askerov (up to 88 kg) won bronze medals
The Russians participate in the tournament under the flag of the International SAMBO Federation.
