Wilder manager: We are open to Usyk fight

Other options include Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz

Shelley Finkelmanager Deontay Wildercommented on the possibility of a fight between his client and Oleksandr Usyk.

“The other day we got word that Usyk will fight Wilder if Joshua fights Fury. Yes, we are open to this, not at all against it.

“And if we don’t agree, there is Ruiz and a few more options. But I think that until Fury fights Joshua, we will still talk with Hearn (Joshua’s manager) after the fight between Deontay and Helenius. Anything can happen”.

In his last fight for the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.

The Ukrainian said that ex-world champion Deontay Wilder could become his next opponent. The fight could take place in the US. In addition, Usyk plans to watch the fight between Wilder and Robert Helenius on October 8 in Brooklyn.
