Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin unlikely to be able to defeat the Mexican Saul Alvarez in a fight for the super middleweight title, according to the former undisputed world champion Konstantin Tszyu .
Previously, the boxers met twice in the ring: the fight in September 2017 ended in a draw, in 2018 the Mexican won by a separate decision of the judges. The third fight between Alvarez, 32, and Golovkin, 40, will take place Sunday night in Las Vegas. Alvarez will defend the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF and WBO championship belts.
– Despite the fact that I support Gena with all my heart, he is definitely a clear underdog due to his age and his loss in the previous fight. His peak passed, if he had been the same fuse as before, he would have presented a surprise. Alvarez is also not in the best condition now as he lost the fight with Bivol, Tszyu told RBC Sport.
