The Ukrainian was present at the duel between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin
Ukrainian boxer Sergey Derevyanchenko (14-4, 10 KOs) said he was ready to fight the undisputed world super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez or his last rival Gennady Golovkin. The Ukrainian was present at Canelo’s fight with Golovkin over the weekend.
“I don’t mind a rematch with Golovkin, or a fight with Canelo, or a rematch with Charlo. I want to box against all the serious guys.”
Derevyanchenko lost to Golovkin for the vacant IBF and IBO titles in October 2019. Also in his next fight, the Ukrainian lost to Jermell Charlo for the WBC belt.
In his last fight, Sergei defeated American Joshua Conley by unanimous decision and interrupted a series of three defeats.
On the night of September 18, Canelo defeated Golovkin by unanimous decision and defended his titles. All judges gave Alvarez the win – 116-112, 115-113, 115-113.
