Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian boxing promotion Hardcore Boxing is set to stage a rematch of the legendary fight between American boxers Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, as well as a fight with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
“Our offer for Ngannou is still in effect – not a million dollars, but two or three. Exactly like the offer to Tyson and Holyfield for 10 and 1.5 million dollars, respectively”, Anatoly Sulyanov, Head of Hardcore Boxing , quote the words of “Sport-Express”.
On November 28, 2020, Tyson had an exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw. Evander Holyfield last entered the ring on September 11, 2021: he lost an exhibition fight to Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Vitor Belfort by TKO in the first round.
Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield have met twice: On November 9, 1996, Holyfield defeated Tyson by 11th-round technical knockout, winning the WBA world heavyweight title. On June 28, 1997, Evander defended the title after Mike was disqualified in the 3rd round of the fight for two bites to his opponent’s ears.
