After the March tournament in Astrakhan, the league tried to introduce a restriction on floor work (60 seconds). With this rule, the AMC Fight Nights league has held several tournaments, but will now discontinue it.
“At first we did this and everything was fine, everyone liked it,” Gadzhiev said, “But then someone wrote a letter to Sherdog, and I saw that the fights that held under such rules were beginning to be transferred to the Exhibition Fight section, i.e. they do not go with the basic stats of the fighter.And we understand that Sherdog is important to many fighters, and we are forced to leave it here,” Gadzhiev said.
The next AMC Fight Nights tournament under traditional rules will be held in Sochi on October 14.
