“This fight is overdue. It should have been staged four years ago,” White said as quoted by BJPENN.com.
Recall that the third fight between Alvarez and Golovkin took place on the night of September 17-18 in Las Vegas and ended in victory for the Mexican by unanimous decision. Canelo defended the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF and WBO belts in the super middleweight division.
