Athletistic/ Boxing. UFC promotion president Dana White has shared his thoughts on the third fight between Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Kazakhstan representative Gennady Golovkin.
“Of course I watched the fight between Alvarez and Golovkin. They sold 575,000 paid shows, less than the first two times. This fight should have been done four years ago,” White said.
On September 18, Saul Alvarez defeated Gennady Golovkin via unanimous decision, ending their trilogy of one-on-one fights. In the first fight between these boxers, which took place on September 16, 2017, a draw was recorded, in the second confrontation on September 15, 2018, Alvarez defeated Golovkin by majority decision.
