Athletistic/ Boxing. Former UFC title contender Chael Sonnen has expressed the opinion that the winner of the duel between Russian Islam Makhachev and Brazilian Charles Oliveira should call Alexander Volkanovski for the next fight.
“The winner of the fight between Makhachev and Oliveira should challenge Alex Volkanovski. He is now probing this weight class, but no one is calling him.”
Some would say it’s a matter of respect. Someone – that he’s not even in that weight class. But they better deal with it and challenge him immediately,” Sportskeeda said quoting Sonnen.
The lightweight title fight between Makhachev and Oliveira will take place on October 22 in Abu Dhabi.
