Rob Font said he didn’t expect to face Marlon Vera and opened the game about a challenge against the Ecuadorian rival; bantamweight was defeated by José Aldo in his last performance
Rob Font will have ahead Marlon Vera in the UFC main event this Saturday, the 30th, but he’s not excited for the event. In an interview with “Combate”, the American revealed that the Ecuadorian was not the rival he expected, but said that the fight will be worth the exposure and payment of the organization.
“He wasn’t a guy that was on my radar. It wasn’t a fight I was super excited about, but coming from a loss, I can’t say no (laughs). It’s not a fight that makes me vibrate, but it’s a tough fight. It’s a main fight, it gives me more exposure and earns me another payday. I’m happy with her. It’s not the fight I wanted, but it’s good to be back.” said Rob, who comes from defeat to Jose Aldo.

I tried to recover, but it was very difficult. And when you let a guy like him open up so much in a fight, it’s hard to chase the damage. He did what he had to do and got the win.”evaluated the bantamweight.
