The Ukrainian world champion said he hasn’t been a middleweight fighter in a long time.
Oleksandr Usyk is no longer a middleweight, as Tyson Fury says. In an interview with Dmitry Gordon, the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion talked about his comfortable weight.
According to the Ukrainian boxer, when the weight does not reach 100 kilograms, he feels the best.
“Today I haven’t trained. Maybe I’ll go to the bathroom. But yesterday there was cardio – I was cycling. I have a track and a bike at home. Very convenient, good. No need to go anywhere to the gym – jump.
Today I have a weight of 98-99 kilos. I have a weight of more than 100 kilograms, but, of course, he fell out of training. Here is now a good weight that suits me. Easy, everything is fine. I have a daily weight – 97.5-98 kg, up to 100 kg. And when there is preparation, I need to eat and gain a few kilos of muscle mass,” said Usyk.
First, Usyk admitted what he wants to do after his sports career.
