American UFC fighter Sean O’Malley said that in the upcoming fight with the Russians petr yan will be surprised at least one miss by the opponent.
The fight between Jan and O’Malley will take place on October 22 in Abu Dhabi on the UFC 280 card.
– I have four weeks left before beating Petr Yan. I will be very surprised if I miss at least one hit,” O’Malley wrote on social media.
Yan, 29, who sits at the top row of the UFC bantamweight rankings, has 16 wins with three losses. In the last fight in April, the Russian lost to Organization Champion Aljamain Sterling via split decision.
O’Malley, ranked 12th in the UFC, has 15 wins and one loss. The 27-year-old fighter’s last fight was in early July with Pedro Munoz, the fight was declared invalid due to a punch to the eye from Munoz.
