Ukrainian is ready for the third fight with Anthony
WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO World Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk announced his readiness to hold a third fight with the British boxer Anthony Joshua.
“If Fury doesn’t agree, I think we could try to have another fight. [с Джошуа]. We already had a fight in London, as well as in Saudi Arabia, so the next one could be at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in Kyiv, ”the Ukrainian emphasized.
Earlier, Usyk said that he could have three more big fights in his career. According to Alexander, these could be fights with Tyson Fury, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and the final fight in Kyiv – at the NSC “Olympic”.
Recall that in September last year, the Ukrainian defeated Anthony on points and took away his WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight belts.
In his last fight, Oleksandr Usyk again defeated Anthony Joshua. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.
The Briton was considering a fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury. However, Anthony never signed a contract for the fight, which is why Fury pulled out of the fight with Joshua.
