Degerfors defeated Malmo 2-1 away from home in round 16 of the Swedish championship, with Dzijan Vukojevic scoring twice, including a spectacular goal from behind the halfway line.
Degerfors had gone five straight games without scoring before the trip to Malmo. Vukojevic broke that drought in the 18th minute in stunning fashion, picking up the ball behind the center circle, glancing at the goal, and firing a shot into the net for 0-1.
Second goal seals the win
The strike was hailed as a candidate for the Puskas Award. Vukojevic added a second goal in the second half, making the final score 1-2, though it was the opening goal that stole the show.
