Epic Games Reveals Fortnite Season 6 Week 6 Challenges

Epic Games added Fortnite season 6 week 6 challenges, including Chillers, Chest hunts and a hidden Sheet Music search in Pleasant Park, Forbes reports.

Epic Games has released a new set of weekly challenges for week 6 of season 6 of Fortnite, mixing location searches, combat tasks and some challenges the game has not featured extensively before, according to Forbes.

Elimination, item searches and more are on tap for week 6 of Fortnite's season 6 challenges

Forbes reported details on how to complete each of the new challenges, which are split between free tasks and Battle Pass tasks.

Free challenges

  • Place Chillers in different matches (0/3)
  • Search a Chest in different Named Locations (0/7)
  • Shotgun eliminations (0/3), marked as a hard challenge

Battle Pass challenges

  • Deal damage with a Pickaxe to opponents (0/250)
  • Stage 1: Land at Shifty Shafts (0/1)
  • Stage 1: Eliminate an opponent with a Common weapon (0/1)
  • Stage 1: Find a stand with Sheet Music in Pleasant Park (0/1), marked as a hard challenge

Placing Chillers is straightforward, according to Forbes. Players do not need to hit an opponent with one, so the challenge can be finished quickly once three Chillers have been picked up.

The Chest challenge is similarly simple. Forbes advised heading to named locations on the map across several matches and searching any Chest found there.

Forbes said the Shotgun elimination challenge, despite its hard label, is also fairly easy. Its guide suggested scavenging for a shotgun and ambushing opponents inside buildings for quick kills, or waiting in a hidden position and firing on anyone who wanders too close.

Dealing Pickaxe damage to 250 opponents is described as time-consuming and risky. Forbes recommended attempting it in 50 vs. 50, duo or squad matches rather than solo.

Landing at Shifty Shafts can be completed at the very start of a match, and Forbes noted that players can also knock out the Chest-search challenge in the same location.

The Common weapon elimination challenge is the first stage of a task that later requires kills with Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary weapons. Forbes suggested scavenging a Common weapon, eliminating an opponent with it as soon as possible, and then progressing through the later stages.

Finding the Sheet Music in Pleasant Park

The Sheet Music challenge is the first stage of a four-part task and can be tricky to find, according to Forbes. It is located in the north-central part of Pleasant Park, inside the first Halloween-decorated house in that area.

The Sheet Music itself sits on the lower floor of the building. Forbes said poor lighting inside makes it difficult to spot at first. Players are advised to finish the match after finding it to make sure the progress saves, which then unlocks stage two.
