The term of the agreement is until June 30, 2025
SC Dnepr-1 announced a contract extension with the striker Artem Dovbik until summer 2025. The previous agreement expired on December 31, 2023.
Earlier it was reported that the extension of the contract with Dnipro-1 will not affect the interest in Dovbik from European clubs. Salernitana, Torino, Marseille, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Girona and a number of other clubs are interested in the forward’s services. The Dnipros want to get at least 15 million euros for the player of the Ukrainian national team.
Dovbik is the best scorer in the history of Dnipro-1. The striker has 53 goals and 13 assists in 84 games.
Recall that Dovbik became the top scorer of the UPL season 2022/2023. The football player played 30 matches in which he scored 24 goals. Artem lacked one goal to repeat the record for performance in one season in the championship of Ukraine, which belongs to the former midfielder of Shakhtar Henrikh Mkhitaryan (25 goals, season 2012/13).
Dnipro-1 took second place in the Ukrainian championship and will play in the Champions League qualification.
