Martin achieved his 20th victory in the professional ring
Congolese heavyweight boxer Martin Bakole (20-1, 15 KOs) defeated Carlos Takam (40-8-1, 28 KOs) as part of the boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The fight ended in the fourth round. Bakole delivered an accurate hook to the opponent’s body, and then carried out a series of accurate blows, after which the referee stopped the fight.
Bakole achieved his 20th victory in the professional ring. This was Martin’s second fight in 2023. In April, he knocked out Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutsky in Rzeszow, Poland.
Takam fought in his first fight since March 2023, when he defeated 2016 Olympic champion Tony Yoka by split decision.
The Bakole-Takam fight took place on the undercard of the Tyson Fury-Francis Ngannou fight. Let us remind you that the WBC granted the “Gypsy King” special permission to fight the former UFC champion.
