The youngest player in Premier League history, Nwaneri, signed his first professional contract with Arsenal.

Ethan made his championship debut at the age of 15 years and 181 days.

Arsenal announced the signing of the first professional contract with the midfielder Ethan Nwaneri. The details of the agreement with the 17-year-old player have not been specified.

Nwaneri joined Arsenal’s academy in 2015. In September 2022, Ethan made Premier League history by becoming the youngest football player in the history of the League. The midfielder, aged 15 years and 181 days, came on as a substitute in the 3-0 win against Brentford.

Nwaneri has scored 14 goals in 14 appearances for Arsenal’s youth teams this season. In February 2024, the midfielder received playing time in the match of the 24th round of the Premier League against West Ham (6:0).

Arsenal leads the Premier League, ahead of Liverpool in additional indicators. On March 31, Alexander Zinchenko’s team will play Manchester City away.
