Formula 1 and Sky announced the continuation of their partnership, extending the contract until 2029, while giving the channel greater access to exclusive information.
According to a press release released today, Sky Sports F1 satellite channel viewers will be able to experience an improved approach to broadcasting in 2023, a split screen feature will appear, as well as a second screen; it is possible to track the position of your favorite racer on the track or choose the photo that the camera sends on his car.
As part of the broadcasts of the World Cup circuits, the Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche Super Cup will continue to be seen.
Sky’s press service also reported a significant increase in audiences in several countries: in the UK it was 60% in 2022 compared to 2019 levels; in Italy – 20% compared to the previous year, in Germany – 24%.
