Kevin Magnussen has a lot of experience in Singapore and Mick Schumacher masters the difficult city circuit for the first time…
Kevin Magnussen (13th): “Good day. It seemed to me that we are more competitive here than in the previous stages. There is still some work to be done, but in general everything is fine.
You have to drive a new car a little differently, but the track remains the same – all the bumps are in the same places as before. I’m happy to be back, it’s always interesting to attack on this track.”
Mick Schumacher (19th): “It was hot today, especially in the first practice, but fun. I am still studying the configuration of this unique track. This year the suspension has gotten a lot stiffer, you have to absorb all the bumps, figure out how best to position the car, and it’s only after you’ve done all this that you can get started with the settings. We’re going to do that tonight.”
