Both Aston Martin drivers admitted they had some difficulties on their first day at Marina Bay, but are hoping to improve as they prepare for qualifying.
Lance Walk (10th): “Piloting on the Singapore circuit is always a pleasure, but the load is very high due to the high temperatures.
In the first practice I hit the wall, but luckily the car wasn’t too badly damaged. We did some important work, especially in the second session, and I think in the next race we will have the opportunity to fight for a good result.
Today we will analyze the information gathered and see how we can improve in preparation for tomorrow’s qualifying.
Sebastian Vettel (12th): “It’s nice to be back on this track, because I really like it. It takes a while to find the right rhythm, but the most important days of the weekend are Saturday and Sunday.
Today I struggled a bit, it was not possible to put everything together, but if it works tomorrow, then we can claim good results this weekend.
