Spanish “Alpine” pilot Fernando Alonso expressed his disappointment with his car’s constant breakdowns during the current season.
– This year, I lost about 60 points, which is unacceptable. I am very disappointed with another breakdown, I had high hopes for the Singapore Grand Prix, and then another mechanical breakdown.
If you give me another 60 points in the standings and reduce the rest, because there are a lot of points that others received due to my retirements, my championship would be much better, even compared to Mercedes,” said Alonso.
Alonso is ninth in the current drivers standings.
