Hamilton thinks he can drive in Formula 1 until he is 42

Supervisor “Mercedes” Toto Wolff noted that the team driver Lewis Hamilton I’m sure he can compete in Formula 1 for at least another five years.

– The advantage is that we communicate a lot. Just last week we sat down and he said, ‘Look, I’ve got five more years ahead of me, how do you see that?’.

We are absolutely transparent with each other. Lewis will be the first to say “I can’t take it anymore” because I feel like I’ve lost my reaction or just lost the fun of racing and another generation is coming that’s just very strong. I have no doubt that we will agree on a contract extension,” Wolff said in an interview with Channel 4.

Hamilton, 37,’s current contract expires at the end of 2023.
