Athletistic/ Formula 1. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has revealed why he failed to face Red Bull driver Sergio Perez at the end of the Singapore Grand Prix.

“In the dirty air, in the conditions we were in, the slightest mistake is very expensive. So I made a few mistakes.

I was just trying to get as close as possible because I needed to pass on the straight. [до начала торможения]. I couldn’t brake later in the braking zone because I didn’t know the condition of the inside of the track. And I didn’t want to take that risk. I had a round where I was very close. I was just waiting for the right opportunity. Unfortunately, in the end, I never got it”, quotes Leclerc Motorsport.
