Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll shared their thoughts on the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix, to be held at the Suzuka circuit this weekend.
Sebastian Vettel: “Suzuka is a fantastic track, my favorite on the championship calendar. I have many happy memories associated with it – the track and the fans are just incredible. In general, the atmosphere on the track seems magical. The racing is hard, but when you manage to drive a perfect circle, you feel the satisfaction.
It is difficult to predict how we will perform this weekend. However, we managed to score points at Spa, another circuit where low downforce is required.”
Lance Walk: “I’m really excited to be back in Suzuka, a real challenge on the track, which I really enjoy. Simply put, this is one of the best songs in the world. The first sector is one of the most exciting of the entire calendar.
Traditionally, overtaking at this track is not easy, but I hope that with the new generation of cars, overtaking will be easier this year.”
