Valtteri Bottas: I’m trying to stay optimistic

Valtteri Bottas has not scored points in eight races in a row – for a variety of reasons, including, of course, the limited speed capabilities of the Alfa Romeo car. But the Swiss team brought an updated front wing to Suzuka, so Valtteri is optimistic and hopes for a top ten finish. However, the effectiveness of the improved wing has yet to be tested.

Valtteri Bottas: “We will have a new front wing and I hope it will help in fast corners because it will provide more effective downforce. I hope it works exactly as we hope.

This is very important to us as we haven’t earned any points for a long time, so let’s see how the machine will work. I have high expectations and I have no doubt that if the new elements perform well, we will be able to fight for good results.

I try to remain optimistic and believe this will be the case. If, for whatever reason, the novelties don’t work, it will of course be more difficult for us. In any case, there is no doubt that the battle in the middle of the pack will once again be very sharp.

It is worth adding that Valtteri, like many other riders, considers the Japanese track to be one of the best in the championship. He is excited to be back in Suzuka, so for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix he has prepared a special helmet livery. The design was created by his friend, Tiffany Cromwell, and the Italian company Danieldesigns embodied her sketches, which use various Japanese motifs.
