Formula E: Robin Fiennes joins ABT

Robin will have contacts with ABT, as the riders will remain closely linked to the teams they played in in the past.

However, according to The Race, a list of potential candidates ready to take Friance’s place has already been drawn up at Envision. Notably, it includes the veteran Sebastien Buemi, 2016 Formula E champion, as well as drivers such as Sergio Sette Camara, Norman Nato and Oliver Turvi.

Also on the list is Antonio Giovinazzi, an ex-Formula 1 driver who only made his electric debut this season but has yet to make it.

Who Frijns will be a teammate next year will be announced in the summer, but there are rumors that Niko Müller, who also played for this team in the DTM, is also in negotiations with ABT.
