Athletistic/ Formula 1. ‘McLaren’ driver Daniel Ricciardo has said he will leave Formula 1 at the end of the current season.

“I guess the reality is that I won’t be in 2023. Now is the time to prepare for the 2024 season. I think better opportunities may arise.

I am very involved in Formula 1 and I think some time away from racing will be beneficial. I will try to take advantage of it, and not dive into another category,” the Fox Sports pilot quoted.

Earlier it was reported that the 33-year-old racer was in talks with Mercedes over the reserve driver spot.
