Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix racing resumed two hours after suspension

The Race Direction of the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix has decided to resume competition two hours after the suspension.

Previously, the start took place in the rain at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time, but soon red flags were hung on the track due to deteriorating weather conditions. The drivers managed to complete three laps in combat conditions and returned to the pit lane for the safety car. The crash fight was completed by Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) and Alexander Albon (Williams).

Reigning world champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) leads the pack on the restart, followed by Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari.
