Hamilton: We haven’t made any progress in five races

After five races of the season, Mercedes is in third place in the Constructors’ Championship, sixty-two points behind the leading Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton assessed the team’s performance at the start of the season and said the engineers had failed to make the car more competitive.

“Unfortunately we have not made any progress,” the Lewis edition is quoted as saying by Racefans. – We have the same speed as in the first race. We have to keep looking for a solution to the problem, but we haven’t made any progress in the first five races. I hope the team will take a step forward at some point in the season. Now we have to keep working hard.

During the race in Miami we had no problems building up on the straights. The situation changes from track to track, how much we lower or overestimate the car. Everything was good in the race, only the car wasn’t fast enough.”
