At the end of the Japanese Grand Prix, Max Verstappen won his second championship title, although the end of the race was a bit hazy because it was not immediately clear.
When he crossed the finish line, neither he nor the team knew about it, so Max simply returned to the pit lane, delighted only by another win, but with no special greetings to the fans who followed the events of the race from the stands of the Suzuka -circuit; no one tried to pass him the flag of the Netherlands, and he himself didn’t spin donuts on his fast RB18, although he probably could. Even if the FIA doesn’t approve it.
In general, the grandstands of the Suzuka circuit and television viewers have lost such a spectacle, although that doesn’t mean we won’t see something similar after the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
This is still a long way off, however, for now Red Bull Racing decided to remember Max Verstappen’s road to his second title, and prepared a sort of summary devoted to the highlights of the first eighteen stages of the 2022 season.
