Last year Valtteri Bottas held his traditional duathlon for the fifth time and the races in the picturesque Finnish town of Pajulahti were again quite successful. Moreover, the victory in them went to his girlfriend, professional Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, and we talked about it.
With the season calendar for next year already known, Valtteri decided to hold his next duathlon a little earlier, in the first weekend of August, and announced the date: 08/06/2023.
Registration is already open for those who want to participate in the competition; they all have to run 5 km cross, then 20 km mountain bike, and then run another cross, but already at a distance of 3 km.
In the family category, in which parents and children participate, the task is somewhat simpler: crossing 1.5 km, cycling 5 km and running another 1.5 km.
For those who can already decide on their plans for August: participation in the duathlon costs less: until December 31, registration for two costs 77 euros. Then the registration fee is 50 euros until the end of May and in the summer the price increases to 77 euros per participant.
