Ferrari has finalized the selection of candidates for its race academy and next week six young drivers will take part in the final round of this process.

They are from 14 to 18 years old and according to the results of the competition, which will be held in Maranello and Fiorano from October 24 to 28, the most promising candidate will be selected, who will become the new Ferrari Racing student. Academy.

Here are the six finalists: Finn Tuukka Taponen, vice world karting champion in the OK class; Rashid Al-Dhaeri, a young kart driver from the United Arab Emirates; Australians Jack Beaton and Gianmarco Pradel, who compete in both karting and Formula 4 in their home countries; Emmo Fittipaldi Jr, already gearing up for his F3 debut, and Mexican F4 driver Jess Carrasquedo.

On October 24, they will all gather in Maranello at the Ferrari base, where they will have to undergo a series of special tests, testing their physical and mental fitness, and at the factory test track in Fiorano they will measure their strength behind the wheel of Formula 4. -cars.

Eventually Ferrari engineers will give them a test in technical training, and eventually the one who will be the strongest will be named and next year he will start training at the race academy.
