Valtteri Bottas has begun preparations for his traditional duathlon, which will be held for the sixth time this year in his native country, in the picturesque Finnish town of Pajulahti.
But now Valtteri has decided to use a somewhat unusual way to raise money for these matches: through Swysh’s online platform, he reached out to fans and invited them to send orders for video congratulations on birthdays and other festive occasions. , and also promised to personally answer questions about Formula 1 and in general on any subject.
To receive such a video message from Bottas, you must pay a minimum of $500, with 20% of the amount going to charity.
This year, Valtteri plans to hold his duathlon on August 21. The registration of the participants has already started. In 2021 there were 80, including the rider himself. Together with everyone else, he cycled 20 km and ran 8 km of cross-country skiing and finally finished in 6th place – this was his best result in the competitions he organizes and hosts since 2016.
