The Aston Martin team received the highest rating from the FIA for their effective work on environmental conservation. Three stars on the scale introduced by the federation is the highest possible rating of environmental initiatives and their implementation.
According to the team, the FIA environmental certification was obtained after a detailed audit carried out in September. Particular consideration was given to the fact that the team’s new base, which will be completed in Silverstone, is equipped with all modern environmental systems.
Mike Krak, Team Principal: “I am delighted to have received the three-star FIA environmental certification. This award demonstrates our commitment to finding solutions to the environmental challenges associated with our manufacturing practices.
We recognize that we are only at the beginning of the journey and that much remains to be done, but introducing environmental systems and increasing environmental literacy remains one of our priorities.”
