The demo races that the Red Bull Racing team held in Guadalajara five days before the Mexican Grand Prix were successful – it couldn’t be otherwise, however, as the RB7 car was driven and “donuts” spun from heart by Sergio Perez, who his hometown is considered a true hero and proud of their compatriot.
There’s no doubting the sincerity of Sergio’s words, who said at the end of the show, “I’m just happy! This is a special day for me and the support I get here is more important than ever. This moment is unique and I hope that today’s impressions will remain in the hearts of the people of Jalisco for a long time to come.
When we talk about the race in Mexico City, which will be held on Sunday, there is of course a chance to win, but for that we just have to do everything perfectly. This is without a doubt the best season of my career, but nothing compares to the victory in Mexico City.
The highlight of the show was, of course, when Sergio stepped out of the cockpit of the car and raised the flag of Mexico over his head. It must be assumed that many residents of Guadalajara will head to the capital this weekend to cheer him on.
