On the eve of the Mexican Grand Prix, Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll spoke about their expectations for the upcoming stage.
Sebastian Vettel: “Mexico City always has an exciting atmosphere, so I love coming to this track. The team has had good results in several previous races, increasing our chances in the battle for sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship.
Ahead of my last three races in Formula 1, but I haven’t lost motivation – it’s still high. Given the team’s form lately, I think we can achieve our goals.”
Lance Walk: “Mexico City has always had one of the most exciting races of the season, thanks to the challenges of the circuit’s elevated position. Traditionally it is difficult to overtake on this track, but new generation cars can positively influence the battle in the race.
The team increased the pace in the final stages and performed well on tracks that require a lot of downforce. That is why I am going to Mexico City with great optimism about the chances of a good result.”
