After the Miami Grand Prix, Sergio Perez went home, but not only because from the state of Florida to Mexico is relatively close, less than a four-hour flight. Most importantly, the Red Bull Racing driver’s wife, Carola Martinez, was expecting their third child.
And on the evening of May 15, the news spread around the world that the couple had a son, Emilio, and they immediately shared a touching family photo taken in the hospital.
One of the first to congratulate Sergio and Carola was the press service of Escuderia Telmex, the racing program of Mexican telecommunications giant Telmex, a longtime sponsor of Perez: “Sergio Perez and his wife Carola had a third child! Congratulations to the whole family! Welcome to this world, Emilio!”
The racer’s family also has a 4-year-old son, Sergio Jr., and a 2-year-old daughter, Carlota.
Of course, given Perez’s popularity in the motorsport world, all the posts about Emilio’s birth are quickly gaining likes and views, so we join in with all the congratulations!
