Norris: We need to earn points in the remaining races

McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo spoke about the challenges the team presented to them at the Mexican Grand Prix.

Lando Norris: “It’s great to be back in Mexico City! Located at a high altitude, the track has unique challenges to solve, and the fan-filled stands at the baseball stadium are an interesting feature of the track.

I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel after a great result in Austin. I’m sure the Mexican fans will do their best to create the same great atmosphere as last year. The team is determined to score as many points as possible in the remaining races of the season.”

Daniel Riccardo: “I am looking forward to returning to Mexico City this week with three final races of the season ahead of us. This track has a fantastic atmosphere and passionate fans.

It’s great to be back behind the wheel a few days after the race in Austin, which turned out to be difficult for me. It’s important to keep working hard to finish the season with good results.”

Andreas Seidli, Team Principal: “Weekends in Mexico City are always memorable thanks to the atmosphere created by the fans! The track is quite difficult due to the thin air at high altitude, so all teams will set the maximum downforce settings.

Another difficulty is that we have the second race of the double series, but Lando, Daniel and the whole team are determined to attack to score points. We are looking forward to another exciting weekend.”
