Formula 3: 2023 season calendar revealed

Formula 3 organizers have unveiled the racing calendar for the 2023 season. Next year, the championship will consist of ten stages, which will be held as part of the Formula 1 race weekend.

The Formula 3 season kicks off the first weekend of March in Bahrain at Sakhir Circuit and ends in Monza, Italy, in early September. As previously announced, the racing series is coming to Melbourne, Australia and Monaco for the first time. In addition to the above races, Formula 3 races will be held in Imola, Barcelona, Spielberg, Silverstone, Budapest and Spa.

Bruno Michel, Series Manager: “I am delighted to present the calendar for the 2023 season, including circuits brand new to the series – Albert Park in Melbourne and Monaco. There will be exciting challenges for teams and drivers in these stages, and I’m sure the fans will love it.

Formula 3 will have ten Formula 1 events, one more than in 2022. The racing series will cover three continents – more than in any other season. Despite the increase in the number of races, we pay special attention to the budgets of the teams, so we will cover the transport costs so that their costs do not increase.

Stefano Domenicalic, Head of Formula 1: “It’s great that we can confirm the Formula 3 calendar for 2023, which I hope will be another exciting season. There is no doubt that in the fifth year we will see drama, wrestling and thrilling battles on the track.

We look forward to seeing future talent take to the tracks during the ten rounds of the season and visit Melbourne and Monaco for the first time in Australia.”
