Athletistic/ Formula 1. 24-year-old Mercedes driver George Russell has assessed his team’s chances of winning one of the two remaining races so as not to finish the season without a win at all. The last time Mercedes didn’t win a race was in 2011.

“As we have seen, Mercedes’ level of speed in the last two races has changed a lot. It seems to me that at the Mexico stage our car was one of the fastest, and if in the race we we followed the same strategy as Red Bull”, then they could compete with them for the victory.

In Brazil, there will probably be something in between. Assessing the situation realistically, it will be difficult for us to finish ahead of Red Bull in any of the remaining races. But Ferrari, I think we can definitely win,” said George Russell.
