Sergio Perez: I have everything to win

Red Bull is optimistically looking forward to the weekend in Sao Paulo, hoping to consolidate Sergio Perez’ advantage in second place in the individual standings…

Max Verstappen: “Brazil is beautiful, it is a country with a rich culture, to which it is always a pleasure to return. Interlagos has a short lap with elevation changes and twisty turns – it’s a great track with its own history, which I like a lot.

This weekend is in a sprint format on Saturday, for qualifying we will do only one training session, which always complicates the task a bit – you have to find the optimal settings in a very short time.

We want to finish the season in first and second place in the individual standings, so it’s important for us that Sergio finishes ahead of Charles.”

Sergio Perez: “I go to the last races with the feeling that I have everything to win. We have already confirmed the championship title and win in the Constructors’ Championship, now we want to guarantee first and second place in the individual standings at the end of the season. I will fight and aim for the best result in every race, including the sprint this weekend.

Sprint is an extra chance to score important points, so it is important to work according to the plan in training and have a good qualification. This weekend we have to put everything together, then we can do everything. We are determined to maintain the incredible form we have been in this season.”
