The car of the seven-time “Formula 1” world champion Michael Schumacher sold at Sotheby’s for a record $14.9 million, according to the auction’s social media page.
The car driven by Michael Schumacher en route to his sixth world title sold for $14,873,327 and became the most valuable car in the history of the “Royal Races” ever to be auctioned.
The cost of the car sold is almost double the previous record, set in 2017. Then the car was sold under the hammer, which Schumacher spoke about in 2001.
