Before the weekend in Interlagos, the FIA spoke about the changes on the track compared to last year and the location of two independent DRS zones.
At the end of the relegation zone in the first corner there was a concrete wall with a barrier of tires.
On the left, between turns 6 and 7, a new steel barrier has been placed in the departure area.
A steel barrier and a protective net have been installed in front of the new grandstands on the route from 10 to 14 bends.
A surface with grooves is laid on the right side of the straight to prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning.
The two independent DRS zones remain the same. The point for measuring the interval between cars for the first one is at the top of the 2nd turn, and the trigger point is thirty meters after the 3rd.
The interval measurement point for the second DRS zone is 30 meters after the 13th turn and the activation point is 160 meters before the 15th.
