McLaren Norris driver at risk of missing start of weekend in Brazil due to suspected food poisoning

Team McLaren driver Lando Norris will miss the briefing and other events on Thursday at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo due to illness.

Lando is not feeling well, there is a suspicion of food poisoning, so today he will rest in the hotel. We expect him to return to the track on Friday,” the team’s press office said in a statement.

This season, the 22-year-old Briton sits seventh in the Formula 1 standings with 111 points.

The race weekend program in Sao Paulo will open the first session of free races on Friday, November 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time. The Brazilian Grand Prix format includes a sprint.
