“We knew there would only be one lap because the rain was coming. There was a lock-up in Turn 8 which ended up costing me pole position.
Second place is a good start, and we will keep fighting, that’s the most important thing. It wasn’t easy, you don’t know how hard you can attack, you had to stay calm. The third segment turned out to be a lottery, but we’re always happy to be on the front row,” Max Verstappen said after qualifying.
